Monarch Butterfly Animal Guide Hex Sign (Hand Painted)

Like all butterflies, Monarchs represent change and transformation. As the “king” of butterflies, Monarchs are also thought to embody perseverance, spiritual truth, and a connection to the Ancestors. In some traditions, Monarchs are tied to the world of dreams, and thus I have included the herb famed for relaxation and dreaming, Lavender.

This sign is painted on a 1/4 inch thick plaque; the 8-inch diameter sign is also available on a 1/8 inch thick plaque (outdoor use is not recommended). Unless requested, it will not feature any hanging holes. A plate hanger is recommended for display.

Painted by hand in acrylic on birch and sealed in several coats of polyurethane. Each sign is ritually cleansed, consecrated, and smoked over an appropriate incense blend, before shipping.  As each item is hand-painted, small variations may occur.
