Commissions & Suggestions
I take commissions, suggestions, and expedited suggestions.
Commissions are usually pet portraits or the like where the buyer wants an exclusive design that I won’t recreate or use on printed merchandise. Typically, these start at $120 and go up depending on the complexity of the design, size, and the available source material.
Suggestions go into a list of ideas for future works, which will be produced in hand-painted multiples and made into printed merchandise.
Expedited suggestions require a $30 fee to “jump the line” and “approve initial designs”, and then are treated like suggestions. I will honor reasonable requests to delay publication to the site and social media in order to protect a “surprise”.
I am also always open to ideas for a “series”. These are usually tied together by a simple theme, and may include a specific specialty paint, a common design element, etc. I like a series of 3-5 pieces, so that it is a reasonable goal to complete in a given season.
