Getting started with the first completed design for the “Animal Guides” series. This series was inspired by the “Save the Bees” Protest Hex sign. The Bee sign is kind of a crossover, as it could be seen as an Animal Guide sign (please let me know if that is your intention, as I will do a slightly different blessing for that purpose!)
I decided to work on the Save the Bees design next, as it has gotten a lot of positive reaction. It’s cute, not quite so overtly political, and the colors are terrific.
Since the Black Lives Matter movement was a primary motivator in my starting on this project (which morphed into a major new direction in my work/life balance!) I decided this should be the next set that I hand-paint for sale. As with all of the Protest Hex project, giving back is important. A portion of the profits from this will go to a local “bail fund” to support BLM protestors.
This design probably has the most feedback and interest, so I started with the Pride Magic hexefus design. I am doing two sets of these to begin.
