The Bear
I am getting started on the last sign in this series. Our Artio was going to be a polar bear, but I ran into an issue with source imagery. Photos of polar bears seem to come in two varieties: cuddly and fake looking, and ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING. since I wanted a dynamic yet encouraging posture, this was, well, less than ideal.
When I started thinking about it, I also wanted to be able to follow through on the series standard of having the elemental color dominate in the background, and ice just isn’t it.
I settled on the Kodiak brown bear. This bear is specific to the Kodiak archipelago in Alaska and is the largest extant subspecies of bears on earth today. They are largely avoidant of humans and omnivorous, with a penchant for fresh sea life.

The Elemental series should be ready by the end of the month and Official and VIP Patrons will have first dibs for TWO WEEKS in June.
